The main point in this design is the black, zig-zag-shaped steel staircase.
Next to the staircase is a group of zig-zag lines made from the same black steel as the stairs. This structure creates a buffer zone between the staircase and the adjacent living room with the stairs appearing to blend in like a chameleon among the group of black zig-zag lines.
By concealing the staircase in this way, this also conceals the bedrooms and other private areas found on the upper floor, creating an increased sense of privacy for the homeowners. Any guests in the home can enjoy the cozy living room without realizing they’re just steps away from the private areas upstairs.
