Black mirror wall and reflective frame
WALL , PARTITION
A wall of black tinted mirrors made from rectangular pieces of various sizes spans the hallway of a consulting firm specializing in multinational clients, adding a sense of luxury and prestige to the office.
The dark mirror pieces create a striking contrast with the reflective white material used to fill the spaces between the different pieces in this avant-garde wall design.
Reflected in the tinted mirrors, is the wall on the opposite side constructed from pieces of different types of wood arranged in a herringbone pattern.
Incorporated into this wood-covered wall is a small square one-way mirror that allows a glimpse from the hallway into the office area on the other side of the wall and vice versa. This gently connects the separate areas and contributes to the sense of connectivity at the heart of the design concept.
This connectivity is reflected in everything from the one-way mirror connecting the different spaces, the use of an entire wall of mirrors as well as the striking white lines between the mirror pieces that seem to be connected in one continuous frame.
